Motivated by a desire to amplify their restaurant’s presence and elevate sales, our client embarked on a quest for innovation. In their pursuit, they turned to third-party online platforms like UberEATS, leveraging its capabilities to transcend geographical boundaries. 

Emerging from a fruitful collaboration spanning years with UberEATS, our client’s imagination ignited a brilliant concept. Envision a tailored online culinary realm, a platform uniquely their own. This creation isn’t confined to their restaurants alone; it stretches its arms to embrace a wider community of food enthusiasts.

Yet, innovation doesn’t halt there. Their vision evolved, aspiring to address the challenges they encountered during their partnership with UberEATS. A specific hurdle caught their attention: the inability for users to simultaneously place multiple orders. This limitation became a catalyst for their desire to exceed it.

To ensure a seamless journey from kitchen to customer’s doorstep. Challenge 1 - Aligning with UberEATS Standards

Our Solution

To tackle this challenge, our testing approach took on multiple facets, meticulously examining each feature against UberEATS’ benchmark. Key metrics, with a strong focus on user satisfaction, guided our testing strategy. We conducted comprehensive functionality testing to ensure that all features met or exceeded the capabilities offered by UberEATS. We also employed exploratory testing to uncover any potential gaps in user experience and ensure interface alignment. Our team collaborated closely with UI and UX designers to verify that unique designs were both captivating and functionally sound. Lastly, constant communication with Business Analysts and the Client was maintained to align expectations and validate outcomes.

Our software testing team leveraged load testing to evaluate the software’s response to increased workloads, simulating the client’s planned expansion. Lastly, we also employed performance testing to ascertain how the software handled varying levels of user interactions while maintaining stability.

Our team conducted penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities, focusing on encryption algorithms (MD5 and Salt) and secure file transfer protocols. We also implemented security testing protocols to validate the effectiveness of HTTPS for secure communication.
